Prince Christians Battery is a top sight in the region that surrounds the town of Tønsberg. Actually, the saltworks are located at Vallø and they are limitedly open to the public (an authorized guide is required), since they are the only protected saltworks in the entire country. The Prince Christians Battery and the surrounding area was restored in the late 1980’s and nowadays, it attracts a wide range of tourists from all the countries of the world.
