Oseberg II is the name given to an
impressive mound that is located at Vestre Rom in Tønsberg. Until now, the
mound has been partially excavated and the exact origins and content of the
mound are not known yet. Basically, the mound is believed to be of great
importance for the Norwegian history and therefore, there are various debates
upon its excavation and upon very high excavating costs
