Kornsjų is a small peninsular establishment which lies at the common
border of Norway and Sweden. This
area is around 160 kilometres away from Oslo.
The Norwegian part belongs to Halden
Kommune in Oestfold. Today Kornsjo
is a small community of around 300 people. Kornsjo has an opening to the sea
and it is well known for its abundance of fish. Another famous place in Kornsjo
is the Station, built under the surveillance of King Oskar II.
