One
of the widest reservations in the county is the Ilene Nature Reserve, which is
spreading on not less than 90 hectare. The reservation was founded in 1981,
right after the foundation of the Gullkronene Nature Reserve, when people began
to be more and more interested in the suitable ways of protecting the nature.
This particular reservation is meant to protect a wide range of rare birds – as
a result of people’s interest in these hundreds bird species, there is a bird
watching tower which can be accessed by the public
