The Halden Historiske Samlinger, or the Halden collections of historical content are scattered all around Halden. You can find traces of history on the Frediksten Fortress, where you will see war pieces as well. At the Roed Manor, you will be able to see another significant part of the Halden collections, being the main building of the collections. There are old paintings, furniture and arms in the exhibition. All in all, the Halden collection will give you an insight into the region’s history and life throughout the centuries.
