The Larvik region is famous, among other things, for the wide range of Bronze Age related sights that it presents. From carvings to burial mounds, anything can be found in Larvik – such as the Bronze Age Carvings in Haugen. These carvings are very well preserved, considering the fact that they date from the oldest times (around the years 1500-500 BC). Each of these carvings represents different things, especially symbols of the Bronze Age period and many vessel figures.
