Norway Attractions and Hotels

There are numerous fortresses on the Norwegian territory and many of them are located in the Vestfold region, especially in the close surroundings of the main cities. Holmestrand hoists, among other attractions, a very old fort that dates from the 5^th or 6^th century AD. The fortress, locally known as the Village Fortress – or, better said, the ruins of the previous fortress – can be admired at Foksetjern, in a natural and beautiful area, full of scenic attractions and ruins from ancient times.
