Tranberg estate finds its origins back in the 17^th century, when it was one of the most representative and complex estates in the Holmestrand area. Until the end of the 19^th century, the owners were focused mostly on farming and on other such rural activities but nowadays, the estate looks like an actual luxurious hotel. The hotel is no longer in function since the year 1985, but Tranberg Estate remains a valuable building that symbolizes the traditional architecture of the previous centuries.
