Tønsberg is famous for many things, but it is unique for one important thing: the famous bell. Just 6 km far from the city centre, there is a bell foundry, which is the only one in all Norway. Here is the actual place where a wide range of bells were manufactured, starting from the heavy Oslo Town Bell (that weighted not less than 4000 kg) to the largest Norwegian church bell that belongs to the Nidaros Cathedral.
