Terje Vigen

Henrik Ibsens gt. 14

Offices in Sorenskrivergården, Storgt.1a

Terje Vigen is a dramatic poem written by Henrik Ibsen strongly inspired by his stay in Grimstad (1844-1850). The Ibsen Museum has an entire hall dedicated to this poem. There are all kinds of exhibits on the Terje Vigen theme. The majority of the poem’s setting is in and around Grimstad. The exhibition is for Ibsen specialists, but it is an interesting show for amateurs as well.
