Norway Attractions and Hotels
Opened for the public in 1937, Svelvik Museum
tells the fascinating story of an important part of this Norwegian town. The
house that hosts the museum was built at the end of the 18th century
in order to be used as a school. Later on, it had different functions and uses.
The Svelvik Museum comprises almost two thousand
objects that make reference to the domestic industry of the 19th
century and kitchen utensils from different periods.
