Nøstetangen Museum first opened its gates in 1998 to serve the purpose of exhibiting fascinating local industry products. This is where you can admire valuable original items of glasswork from the renowned Nøstetangen Glassworks which remain very well preserved.

The display of exhibits is aided by modern multimedia presentations that open a world of virtual delights to visitors. The exceptional displays and presentations won the museum a national heritage award in the year 1999.
