Grimstad is a maritime town
situated in the county
of Aust Augder. The Maritime Museum
is a unique place in Norway.
There is an old shipyard at Hasseldalen, which is one of only three
shipyards that are existent today in Norway. This yard dates back to
1842, and the Museum is located in the administrative building of the old
shipyard. The Maritime
Museum can be reached by
boat where you can arrange for a guided tour of the museum
