The Leprosy Museum also known as St George’s Hospital is opened on a daily basis from May 20 to August 31 and it is included in the “City Walk Tour”. St George was a hospital for lepers for more than 500 years. Now this extraordinary museum displays the “Bergen Collection of History and Medicine”. The building dates back to the early 18^th century and it now represents the efforts made by Norwegian doctors to combat leprosy.
