Situated not too far from Larvik, the Hedrum rural museum reconstructs the image of a typical farm of the area from the beginning of the twentieth century. This “natural” museum occupies a surface of an acre and it comprises four houses that capture the spirit of the beginning of the 20^th century in rural Norway. The museum displays a collection of objects that were typical for the country life of the last century. Unfortunately, the museum is opened only during the summer, for about two months.
