Haugar Vestfold Art Museum, Tønsberg |
Norway Attractions and Hotels
Haugar Art Museum is a new
museum, located in Tønsberg, in a very impressive, architectural building that
used to be used as a school, back in the early 1920’s. The museum is very
complex and wide, covering an area of more than 3 square kilometres. A major
attraction when visiting this art museum is represented by the statues that
decorate the frontal side of the building – these statues were created by the
Norwegian architects A. H. Bjercke and G. Eliassen and represent the concept of
multiculturalism.
