This site is located exactly in the middle of the Gjøvik city centre. The Gjøvik Gård comprises all sorts of buildings that were erected in the past 3 centuries. The first owner of the Gjøvik Gård was the founder of Gjøvik, Casper Kauffeldt. One of the buildings of the Gjøvik Gård is the home of the Mjoen and Hansen families. You can see the furniture, paintings, arms as well as books from the late 19th century. The Dregenstua is the exhibition that contains the servant’s establishments as well as their belongings.
