The Boy’s Brigade Museum
is only open Saturday’s and Sunday’s, during Aug 11-Jul 9 approximately. Even
though this is not the largest museum in Bergen
the Boy’s Brigade offers detailed information about the “Buekorps”. With the
help of pictures and different items, the museum illustrates 140 years of Boy’s
brigade activities. The boy’s brigade does complex drills with crossbows,
circulation is stopped and people come to watch them in action. The most
elaborate parade is held on May 17th which is the Norwegian
Constitution Day.
