The Bergen
maritime Museum has an interesting collection of different artefacts and models
ships. The museum tries to present the importance of seafaring (from past times
to more contemporary times) for both the Bergen
community and the people of Norway.
One of the most amazing exhibits is the Vikings ship exposition. The museum is
located in the centre of the town near the fish market and provides visitors
with different facilities such as a library, photo service, special
arrangements and boat register.
