The Bergen Art Museum is one of the largest art museums in Scandinavia and it consists of three buildings. Lysverket
has on display the oldest works of art in the collection such as 15th
century Russian and Greek icons; the next building is the Rasmus Meyer
where you can see mainly masterpieces created by Norwegian artists whilst the
Stenersen building houses temporary exhibits. The Bergen Museum
publicly displays works of art from the 15th century to most recent
times.
