Vandringshavn is a famous ancient port in Egersund. Its name can be translated as the harbour of the wanderers. In the past, the Vandringshavn used to be a fishing harbour where many fishermen spend their days and nights. Currently, this site is a splendid place to go for a picnic and spend some relaxing time whilst listening to the sea and enjoying the view. Vandringshavn is located a couple of miles from the centre of Egersund.
