Ruggesteinen is a 70 tonnes stone in Norway, being Europe’s biggest stone. The Ruggesteinen, translated as the rocking stone is located 4 kilometres away from Hauge in Dalaene. It is close to Stavanger as well, around 110 kilometres from the city. You can go and follow the track on the Ruggesteinen, it will take around 40 minutes, being 1.5 kilometres long. You can go to Ruggesteinen and have a picnic, go biking, hiking or simply enjoy the view.
