Rod Manor

Halden historiske Samlinger

Rød Herregård, 1771 Halden, Norway.

The Rod manor or the Roed Herregaard, is an impressive building in French Empire Style, erected in the beginning of the 19th century in Halden. This country manor is open to the public and may be visited all year long. It presents a nice architectural structure and the view is pleasant as well with a baroque garden and an English park. The Rod Manor Gallery frequently hosts exhibitions. The buildings of this manor have been restored.
