At Nøstetangen Glassworks, tourists can see glassblowers in action,
craftsmen renowned worldwide for the glass artworks that follow the old
Nøstetangen style. This is the place where, back in 1741, the first glass in Norway was produced.
The original products made at Nøstetangen
soon became very popular, creating items like goblets engraved with various
models or astonishing chandeliers. Glass produced at Nøstetangen Glassworks is now considered to be
artwork and very much appreciated by collectors and enthusiasts from all around
the world.
