The Lying Poet sculpture is located in the centre of the city in the Ole Bull Plass and it is quite an attraction point for this beautiful square. The lying poet sculpture was shown to the public for the first time in 1985. The talented Norwegian artist Hand Jacob Meyer designed it. The Lying Poet sculpture is just near the Blue Stone, which is the most well known and important meting place in Bergen.
