Fossesholm Manor dates back to the 16th century and it is known as one of
the largest manors in Norway. It has an architecture influenced by the
grand estates built in Europe at that point in
time and in that spirit it includes elements from rococo and baroque styles.
Now the cultural centre of Vestfossen, Fossesholm Manor is protected by the Eiker Historical Society and is
undergoing restoration and modernising work.
