Mount Floyen is a perfect place to go if you want to relax or escape city stress and agitation. From Bergen City centre, you can take the funicular to the top of mount Floyen. The funicular ride is probably one of Norway’s best tourist attractions. The mountain is only 320 meters high but it offers some extraordinary view of Bergen’s suburbs and the surrounding islands. The restaurant from the top of the mountain is opened only during summer while the kiosk and souvenir shop are opened all year round.
