Alleen 29 at Laksevaag, Bergen, Norway
Damsgaard Manor is one of Bergen’s landmarks, situated in Laksevaag
suburb only 3 kilometres away from the town’s centre. The rococo architecture
and the fact that Damsgaard is made of wood is very unusual for Norway. The
architecture of the manor is unique considering that the facade of the house is
actually built to amplify its dimensions and two windows are painted in order
to create symmetry. You can only visit the museum by means of a paid tour.
