Bragernes Hill

Bragernes Hill has received the award for "Park of the Year 2001” for being a hotspot of natural beauty for the city of Drammen. The hill is within walking distance from the city centre and it is accessible for visitors of all ages. Well marked trails and paths make this a good destination for disabled visitors too. Due to the initiative and passion of locals, the hill is now a real botanical garden, with many new species of plants introduced and a completely modified landscape.
