Skoger Old Church is appreciated for being the oldest building in the city of Drammen. It is also the only medieval style church in the town. The date of construction is not known for sure, but it is believed to be around the year 1199. Since then, it has undergone important restoration and renovation so that the monument could be preserved in its present state. The church is only open during the summer time and for special occasions.
