The Fluberg Kirke is the oldest church that exists in the Land region. Up until 1866, this church was a religious place for people from both Nordre and Sondre Land. The church dates back to 1200, being built as a stave church, whilst it was restored in 1703.Very little is known about the history of the Fluberg Church. Recently it was decorated by the famous painter Peter Aadnes.
