Another famous church situated in the Grimstad area is the Eide Church. This church is smaller than the Grimstad Church, but is a unique piece of architecture. The church was built in 1796. This wooden church is a place with tradition, where people around Grimstad came to pray and relax. Today it is open to the public and can be viewed if you book a guided tour in advance.
