Kirkegata

Set just above the main city square, this amazing church oversees the entire town. The neo-gothic construction presents a clock tower on its southern wall. It is renowned for the sound of its 35 bells that attract tourists worldwide but it is still in use for traditional religious services. It is regarded as a symbol for the town of Drammen for the interior decorations and also because it was the second public construction erected after the disastrous fire of 1866.
