When visiting Tønsberg and the surrounding areas, there is one sight that can not be missed: the Tønsberg Cathedral. Why? This church is an architectural masterpiece, full of historical and religious value. The cathedral was built on the ground that once belonged to the St. Lavrans Church. The most impressive pieces that can be found here are a very old altar piece, dating from the 18^th century and an even older pulpit, from the 17^th century.
