Torvgata 12

The impressive religious structure that is Bodø Cathedral was finished in 1956 and offers a breath taking view for any tourist or local alike. The 12 metre high stained glass window, rose window and tapestries from the Nordland embellish the interior of the edifice. Built in a gothic style by renowned Norwegian architects, the church is one of the first ones in Norway to use a detached steeple. It is open for public tours and visitors so that anyone can now enjoy its beauty.
